What is the Super Borovets Project?
The Super Borovets Project is an exiting project to Improve, Expand and establish Borovets as a 1st class Winter and Summer Sports Area in Europe. The Area will expand the resort of Borovets up to a radius of 12 Km, this will incorporate a new purpose built resort just outside of Samakov & Expand and modernize the village of Beli Iskar.
Are there any low cost Airlines flying to Bulgaria from the UK?
There is a new Airline called Wizz which has just started flying to Sofia, other low cost Airlines are due to follow when Bulgaria join the EU in January 2007.
How long does it take to get to Bulgaria?
Direct flights take between 3 & 3.5 hours, the transfer time from Sofia to Borovets is approximately 45mins/1hr.
Can Non Nationals own Property?
Yes Non Nationals can purchase property outright, but in order to purchase the land you need to set up a Bulgarian ltd Company, or enter into a joint venture with an existing Bulgarian Company.
What is the cost of living in Bulgaria?
Obviously there is an increase in price in the tourist areas, but even in these areas you are looking at approximately a third of the equivalent UK prices.
I have seen land for sale at 10Euros / Sq Meter, why is the Land that you are selling more Expensive?
You can purchase land in Bulgaria for as little as 5 Euros/Sq Meter, but these plots of land will not be close to any popular Holiday Resorts, All our land is in prime location's, the land we currently own is within 100m of the new ski lift, who wants to queue at bus stops on Holiday!
Is it possible to get Finance / Mortgage to purchase a property or land in Bulgaria?
Yes we can help you get financing on up to 70% of the property value, interest rate's are typically around 6%.
I believe in 2006 we will be able to buy property abroad as part of our pensions, will this apply to Bulgarian Property's?
Yes the incentive is called SIPP, obviously you will need to take appropriate advice from professional advisers, but we do hope to have some information on the subject posted on our website soon.
Is the property market as buoyant as everyone is suggesting?
For example in Beli Iskar, where Hare Investments have Purchased Land, the value of the land has risen from 25 Euros / Sq Meter to up to 70 Euros / Sq Meter in less than 12 months, once the Super Borovets infrastructure is in place and Bulgaria join the EU in January 2007, the price of this land will rocket, In Bansko where they have recently developed the resort, prices of 150 Euro / Sq Meter is common.
Is it possible to rent property out through an established Tour Operator?
Yes, many developments including ours do offer the opportunity to have an established tour operator rent out your property to their clients.
